“OUT OF THE BOX” LIVE-STREAMED CONCERT SERIES TO DEBUT AT MUSIC BOX
Cleveland, Ohio – Music America today announced that it has partnered with Cleveland’s premiere
music venue – The Music Box Supper Club – to launch a monthly, live-streamed concert series that
will be called the “Out of the Box” Concert Series. The first show will be on Friday, October 30th
featuring Carlos Jones & the PLUS Band. Due to COVID restrictions, there will only be a limited
number of tickets available for in-person seating. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the show will start at 8
p.m. Tickets for in-person seating will go on sale starting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21st and
can be purchased at the following link:

The show will have a few new twists including a Halloween costume contest for both people
attending in person, and also for those watching the stream with a VIP / Zoom ticket. The VIP
Zoomers will become part of the show, as both the live audience and the band will be able to see them
on the in-house video monitors. Prizes will be given for the best costumes – both for the live audience
and the VIP / Zoomers. To purchase a VIP Zoom ticket, go to:

The live stream is sponsored in part by the Ohio Lottery, and there will be a special contest
called “The Lucky 7th Song” that those purchasing tickets (both in-person and VIP Zoom) will be
eligible for, with prizes also awarded. Former Cleveland TV personality, Dawn Kendrick, will be the
MC for the show.
Carlos Jones & the PLUS Band (www.carlosjones.com) has been one of Cleveland’s
most popular musical groups for over 20 years. They recently resumed work on their 3rd full length
album– “A New Day”, which will be available later on this year or in early 2021. Work on the recording
had to be halted when the recording studio – Magnetic North in Beachwood, Ohio – closed down due to
the COVID-19 protocols. With most live shows being canceled, the band has turned to doing live
streamed events in conjunction with Music America, and has averaged around 12,000 views per show.
Music America is an entertainment promotion company led by Jones’ manager – Larry
Koval and his team, that looks to put on unique events at various venues throughout the area with
live music as the focal point. Their first event was the “Reggae on the Water” event in June of
2019 on the Good Time III. They have now moved into the Live Stream / Virtual Event
production area as an alternative channel to promote live entertainment. For more information or
sponsorship opportunities, contact Larry Koval (LKoval@msn.com).
