REGGAE ON THE WATER RETURNS IN 2025
Cleveland, Ohio – Little Fish Records announced today that Carlos Jones & The P.L.U.S. Band (aka The Peace, Love, Unity Syndicate) will be doing a special performance on the Goodtime III cruise ship this summer on June 24, 2025. Billed as “Reggae on the Water”, the group last performed on the Goodtime III in 2019. Plans for returning were put on hold when the Covid pandemic hit and the group decided to hold off on a return date due to health and safety concerns.
This year, they have teamed up with the Calvetta Brothers Floor Show, who are partnering with Little Fish Records to sponsor the cruise. The Goodtime III is located at 825 East Ninth St. Pier, Cleveland, OH. The ship will start boarding at 7:30 p.m., leaving the dock at 8:00 p.m. and returning at 10:30 p.m. Early bird tickets will be available at a discount until May 1st for $39. The price goes to $45 from May 1st to June 23rd. Carlos Jones & the PLUS Band has been entertaining audiences full-time since 1998 with their blend of roots-reggae / island soul music that is synonymous with summer. They have set attendance records at local outdoor venues such as Wade Oval and Edgewater Park. The group has released 3 full length CD’s plus one “live” cd, 1 EP and numerous singles on Little Fish Records (www.littlefishrecords.com). They have had their music appear in movies, trailers, textbooks, and greeting cards, and have received airplay nationally and internationally, including on Sirius XM radio. Fans who attended the last Goodtime appearance, have been asking when the group would be doing it again!
It turns out that several of the Calvetta brothers were fans of Carlos Jones and connected with Jones’ management team at one of their shows. It became apparent that there was a willingness to work together to create a unique event that the Calvetta’s could get behind. They were actually on the Goodtime the last time Carlos Jones performed, so it was a natural fit for them.
