Carlos Jones will be joining together with Michael Rotman (Big Ship) and Jen Maurer (Mo\u2019 Mojo) for an intimate singer\/songwriter roundtable at the venerable Nighttown, 12387 Cedar Road, Cleveland Hts., OH on Thursday, November 30th at 7:00 p.m.<\/strong> Tickets are $10\/advance, $12\/day of show and can be purchased online at www.Paypal.me\/bandleaderroundtable<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Carlos Jones (www.carlosjones.com<\/a>) has been a pioneer of the American reggae genre for over 30 years with groups such as I-tal, First Light, and his current group, the Peace-Love-Unity-Syndicate (aka the PLUS Band). His songwriting style reflects his gospel-blues-country upbringing mixed with Caribbean rhythms and a warm voice that draws the listener in. This will be a great opportunity<\/p>\n

Each artist will perform individually and then have a conversation about the songwriting process or how that specific song was created, sharing stories and giving insight into the creative process. Michael Rotman currently performs with the group \u201cBig Ship\u201d (www.bigshipmusic.com<\/a>) and was formerly with the legendary jam band, \u201cOroboros\u201d. His rich, deep baritone voice lends a distinct style to his storytelling and rhythmic guitar strumming.<\/p>\n

Jen Maurer, the multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and leader of the Cajun-Zydeco group \u201cMo Mojo\u201d (www.momojomusic.com<\/a>) brings a sultry flavor to her eclectic songwriting, which mixes blues-country-rock-americana-zydeco-reggae into one big concoction that is sure to delight.<\/p>\n
